Jackson's New Wheelchair fund

Hi my name is Lisa Horne and I am the mom of Jackson Horne. I am doing a Go fund me for Jackson to help him get a new wheelchair.  Jackson has got Osteogenesis Imperfecta and has had over 150 fractures in his short 12 years of life. In the last 12 months he has had over 15 fractures and currently is nursing fractured ribs and some fractures in his back. Jackson is in need of a new wheelchair. He currently has a chair but it was sized 4 inches too wide and it is over 50 lbs in weight. We applied for a new chair through insurance but due to the fact that this current chair is only 2 years old the insurance denied our claim. His current chair is way too wide, causing him to fracture fingers and due to the feet rests being set too far in front he is having trouble navigating his surroundings. He is unable to move freely in school and because of the weight he is unable to get up and down curbs and ledges. He wants more independence but due to the weight he is unable to pick up the chair. Jackson can't walk and his wheelchair is his legs.  Imagine if you couldn't walk and you had to depend on equipment that is not sufficient for your needs?!? The money you give will be given to Per4max for a ultralight wheelchair (shockwave) that will give Jackson the ability to be independent, and move around in his surroundings without bumping into everything.
         Today Jackson came home crying because he ran into some desks at school and knocked off a bunch of stuff and he was extremely embarrassed. My heart bleed for him because we don't have the money to just go out and buy him a chair.  For the $7000 we will be able to get him the exact chair he needs and the freedom he deserves.
