Jackson's Variety Fire Fund

Jacksons Variety on Sconticut Neck Rd, a Fairhaven (MA) landmark was destroyed by fire this morning. Thankfully, neighbors and folks on their way to work helped rescue the owner, Colin "Jack" Jackson from the second floor apartment with flames and smoke engulfing the building at an alarming rate. Jack, daughter Tina (who was trying to assist her non-amblatory father out of the building) and Jack's granddaughter Jamie were safely helped out of the building. Jack and Jamie were brought to the hospital for smoke inhalation, at this moment I do no know the status of their condition.
Many of us who live on Sconticut  Neck have personal, lifelong ties with the Jacksons, please help this family with the support they'll need to  rebuild their lives and livelihood
