Get Jackson Knoll to Green Bay
As most of you know by now, Roland Knoll passed away last week very unexpectedly. Roland was a larger than life personality and he left all of us with great memories and wonderful stories of our experiences with him. Over the past several years a great many of my times with Roland have been with our kids. Rolands son, Jackson, and my son, Ryder, have quite the "bromance", and have had lots of great adventures together.
For any of you that know Jackson, you are surely well aware of his passion for football, ( a passion that he shared with Roland!) and more specifically, for Green Bay Packers football!
Now for the ask: I have an opportunity to take Jackson and Ryder up to Green Bay on October 9 for a game against the NY Giants. This game is at Lambeau Field in Green Bay, Wisconsin. ( The motherland of Packers football!) The plan is to fly into Chicago on Friday, see the sights on Saturday, then head to Green Bay for a Sunday night game. This is a HUGE deal by any stretch, and I know it would blow the boys minds. I can cover a good bit of this trip, but I really need some help to make it work into the budget. (Tickets alone for the game are $300 apiece.)
I realize this is a fairly extravagent outing, but I really want to give Jackson something to look forward to, and I know this is something that he could only dream of otherwise. By the way, I know I am leaving Dylan out, but he is a bit too young to make a trip like this, and I dont think he is a hardcore fan the way his older brother is.
I know everyone has their own needs, and these fundraisers seem to pop up every other day, but Paige has given me the green light to take her oldest to Green Bay, and I would love to make it happen. The whole family has been through a lot over the last few years, and I would love to help create a really great memory for my good friends son. What say ye? I dont have a lot of time to get this all booked as tickets are going fast, and cheap air fare is selling out quickly. Anything will help. Take 5 minutes, get out the wallet, make a little pledge and let me book these tickets! Thanks for taking the time to read this, and hopefully you can help!
