Jackson's Flower Walk - 2022
Tax deductible
In September 2017, we lost our son, Jackson Antonio Clark. He was a happy, healthy little boy who loved shoes, spoons, cars, silly faces, and flower walks. Jackson sadly passed away in his sleep shortly after his second birthday. After a thorough investigation we were never given a cause of death, making this a case of "Sudden Unexplained Death in Childhood" (SUDC).
Jackson was an early riser, so our family often started the day with a little "flower walk" around the neighborhood. He loved to smell roses and blow on dandelion puff-balls on our walks near Green Lake.
We have an annual tradition of gathering for a "Jackson Flower Walk" during the month of September, since his birthday is on September 11 and his anniversary is on September 20. It's been a meaningful way to connect with family and friends, collectively remember Jackson, and spend time doing one of his favorite activities in our old Green Lake neighborhood. However, due to the ongoing pandemic, we will continue the event as a virtual gathering and invite you all to walk "with us" from the safety and convenience of your neighborhoods.
