Jackson's Journey to Save Lives

Donation protected
Jackson Robert Lennon was born on Monday February 27 2023 to Joshua Lennon and Kaylynn Rowe at 6lbs 5 oz. Jackson became their forever angel on Tuesday, July 18, 2023. From the moment he showed up on the ultrasound, he changed lives. He was born with a rare muscular affecting genetic condition called Myotubular Myopathy. That diagnosis was confusing and very heavy, but from day 1 Jackson showed that he was a fighter. Josh and Kaylynn met with many doctors, surgeons, nurses, and researchers. Unfortunately most of the knowledge of this condition is all statistics and is different for every baby. Josh and Kaylynn made the brave, admirable and loving decision to bring their beautiful baby home after spending a month at Nemours NICU. It was known that by bringing Jackson home that he would require around the clock care and many hospital trips. Grandparents, great grandparents, siblings, extended family & friends stepped up to help this beautiful family find their new normal. It was a very rocky start but within time Josh and Kaylynn settled into their new normal like the job was made for them. I promise no one would have wanted any of this to be any different

Jackson loved to hear his mommy’s voice calling “good morning Mr. man” and Jackson loved his daddy leaning over the bassinet and saying “Oh baby Jack Jack!” and kissing him 15 times. Jackson loved his Saturday night sleepovers with grandmom and grandpop. He loved his story time with Grandmom, nearly never missing a day or night, learning about the stars, dinosaurs, and history. Jackson loved looking at bright colors, watching Veggietales and The Lion Guard, and clapping his hands along to songs. His favorite singer is his daddy who sang to him every morning during snuggle time. Jackson was the biggest snuggle bug and he wasn’t picky with who held him. Going for walks in his stroller and feeling the sun on his skin always made him smile, and he loved having his bassinet on the porch to listen to the birds. He loved bath time and splashing his hands in the water. Jackson loved when his pup Apollo would check on him and give him kisses.

I truly believe that although he wasn’t earth-side nearly long enough he was loved enough for 7 lifetimes. Jackson will always be the happiest little boy and will always light up any room with his big gummy smile. Jackson was a very special baby boy and he will change lives in the future for many reasons. His life and memory will live on through Joshua and Kaylynn. Continue to keep this beautiful family in your thoughts and prayers.

Jackson will aid in ongoing research for his condition, continuing to impact lives as they work to find a cure. All donations will be split up and given to the hospitals that have a part of Jack with them for research, along with helping Josh and Kaylynn with any necessities they may need.
