Jack's World Challenge in eSwatini, Africa
Hi. I'm Jack, a 12-year-old high school student who is raising funds for a World Challenge in Africa. This expedition will include working on a life-changing community project in eSwatini that supports vulnerable children with meals, education and more. I have to fundraise every penny myself to take part in this World Challenge. Thank you for supporting me in any way you can. Here's a bit more info about what I'll be doing...
World Challenge
During the challenge, we will join and contribute to a Neighbourhood Care Point (NCP) in a rural part of the country. These community-driven centres provide life-changing support for vulnerable children in the area. I'll help out with the NCP’s work and get involved in village life.
There will also be educational visits, treks and cultural experiences.
World Challenge says: "With you and your team tackling fresh challenges each day, this once-in-a-lifetime experience proves just how much you’re capable of. It could change the way you see yourself and the world, forever."
Why I want to do it
I want to take on the World Challenge to help children in eSwatini and make a difference for the community.
Hopefully the challenge will also have a big impact on me - and encourage me to continue to make a difference when I'm older.
Fundraising
To raise the money, I'll be taking on sponsored challenges (more info soon), selling baking, holding events, doing chores, and more! It's going to take a lot to reach my goal!
If you can help in any small way to get me closer to my fundraising goal, I would be massively grateful.
Thank you
I promise to keep everyone updated on the fundraising and the work our school team does during the trip.
