Jacob Allan Lee Hanson's life was taken from his family, friends and loved ones in a horrible tragedy on August 19th, 2022. As we take this in, I would like everyone to take a moment and remember Jake as the Outgoing man he was.
Jacob Hanson was raised in Sedro Woolley, Washington, with his mother, Tammy Hanson, Father Allan Hanson and Sister Megan Hanson. Growing up, he spent most summers in Bonners Ferry, Idaho, where he spent his time in the mountains morel mushroom hunting, huckleberry picking, and fishing anywhere he could with his sister and Grandpa. As he got older, he made his career at Janicki Industries and Neilson Bros. and had an extreme passion for the logging industry and fishing the Skagit River; he was the most hardworking man you could ever meet. He would brush it off no matter what and ensure he got the job done if he were hurt. Jacob valued and spent most of his time with his friends and family. Jacob's most treasured moments with friends would be fishing at Lake Shannon in Concrete, WA, on a boat where he spent his childhood fishing and camping with his family. His most prized possessions were his deer and elk sheds and wood craftsmanship.
We appreciate your ongoing support and donations to our family as we are taking in this devastating loss.
