Jacob and Alix family assistance fund
Alix went to Heaven on 8/30/21. Please keep her husband, son, family and friends in your prayers.
As many of you know by now, what started out as a scary time in Alix and Jacob’s life with her being diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and being hospitalized until their baby boy Issac was suppose to be born at 34 weeks gestation. If not scary enough, Alix was diagnosed with COVID-19 on July 16th after being exposed to her coworker earlier that week. Her body was having a hard time so they decided to induce at 32 weeks 5 days which ended in an emergency c-section the next day on July 19th. Alix was having a hard time breathing and Issac was rushed to the NICU. Alix has only laid eyes on her baby boy for maybe a few seconds. When they thought things would start getting better Alix was intubated on July 22 and in critical condition. While all this was going on with Alix her husband, Jacob, was diagnosed with Covid-19 and had to leave his wife and newborn son by theirselves. He has sense recovered and will be able to go back to Pensacola soon to be with his son and wife.
Fast forward to now, Alix is still in critical condition in the ICU, she has made some improvements but is still in need of a miracle! She is a fighter and will continue to fight for her life.
Sam and I (Alixs best friends) wanted to do this for Jacob, Alix and Issac to help them out with whatever they may need (ex: future medical bills, monthly living expenses, travel, etc). Her husband is on FMLA leave but it is unpaid. We want him to be able to be there for his family without having to worry about the financial burden of no paycheck. Once Issac is discharged from the NICU Jacob will have to return home and make the trip back and forth to Pensacola from Panama City to see Alix.
If you’d like to donate a different way via cash, gift cards, or venmo since gofund me takes a percentage I will make sure her husband Jacob receives it. Just contact me if you’d like to donate a different way. I will keep you all updated. I have Jacob’s Venmo posted below.

We want to thank everyone from the bottom of our hearts for any donation. If you’re unable to donate please share and keep the prayers coming for this precious family!
Thank you,
Jasmine and Sam!
