My name is Randi Bely and I made this GoFund Me for my dear friend Jacob Kuperus and his wife Kayla.
So around August, Kayla was diagnosed with pancreatitis. She was admitted into Fargo hospital. After about a two weeks she was discharged to just be admitted a week later. Fargo hospital had called Mayo clinic with Kayla's symptoms and she was immediatly told to go to Rochester, MN. Her diagnosis was liver failure and she would need a transplant.
She waited two weeks to receive news about a liver transplant. During that two week time neither Jacob nor Kayla were working at all.
A transplant has been found and Kayla is currently in ICU. Over the past weekend Kayla's blood pressure has dropped drastically and has been suffering from some internal bleeding. The low blood pressure has stopped her from receiving dialysis. Her legs are so swollen that at one time the skin had burst from the swelling.
The next 3 weeks are crucial and if Kayla pulls through she will be staying at a house near Mayo clinic that will cost at about$1,000.00
Meanwhile, Jacob has not been working during this time staying by Kayla's side, all the bills are piling up. Plus their medical bills from Fargo are starting to come in as well and the stress is just piling ontop of Jacob. Both Jacob and Kayla do not need this stress right now as they have enough stress as it is.
I would love to see this help both of them out as they are both such prideful people and don't like asking others for help when they so desperately need it. I know both Jacob's parents, Randi and Scott Sander and Jeff Kuperus and Kayla's parents Mr. and Mrs Van Eps would greatly appreciate in the help in this time of need.
