Jacob and Michelle's Home and Business Fire Fund

Hi, my name is Michelle and I am fundraising to rebuild our home and business that was tragically lost in a structure fire the morning of the 28th day of December 2022. The funds will go towards a place where we can call home, a woodshop where we can continue fullfil our goal of creating, selling and showcasing our woodwork. Jacob and I were blessed to be able to rent a space where we could build and finish furniture and other wood creations for close to two years. Upon moving into our rental space my family was met with tragedy when we learned my beautiful niece Christina lost her life. Close to a year and three months later after a lengthy and brutal fight, my partner lost his father unexpectedly to COVID-19. Our two years renting the space was filled with many mixed blessings. All the while we were shown so much support from folks local and beyond who really responded to our work. We always hoped that one day we would be able to be in a position to affectively do and share what we love in a more professional setting. On the morning of December 28th, our lives and faith were tested when our dog Eddie woke us up barking to what we immediately learned to be our woodshop up in flames. We grabbed our dog and ran outside barefoot. We didn't have time to grab anything before our tiny home and business were swallowed up by flames. It was devastating beyond repair. Everything from our tools, paints, stains, to our customers furniture, wood slabs, home, pictures, family keepsakes and computers were lost in a matter of minutes. We have worked so hard to attain everything we lost. We are so grateful for anything you'd be willing to give and never imagined we'd be in a position to have to ask but none the less, we are.
