Memorial for Jacob Andrew Bednarski

On July 7th 2024, my sister Kristen Hayko, experienced every parents worst nightmare; her son, Jacob, was found dead. Even worse, his death is being investigated as a homicide. His sudden passing left our family utterly heartbroken and numb. To compound our grief, Kristen was involved in a horrible car accident in June that has resulted in at least 3 surgeries to her right leg. Kristen is non-weight bearing on her right leg and in a wheel chair for the next 3-4 months. Since she is immobile and not working, she does not have an income. I am facilitating this Gofundme to help her raise the money needed to put her son to rest and to ease her financial hardship so she may mourn and grieve with some ease. Our family is grateful for the loved ones and friends who have reached out and continue to reach out during this time. Our lives are forever changed with Jacob's passing. He was our first born son, nephew, brother, and he is a father to a beautiful little girl. Jacob will be cremated and buried near family. These funds will help pay for his cremation, burial expenses, and marker/gravestone.
