Jacob Blevins medical bills

My name is Kim Sigmon. I'm a mother and a grandmother.

I've struggled with creating this account because asking for help is difficult for me. I have done everything I can think of such as help from close friends, selling items on marketplace, etc. One thing that far supercedes my pride is the love I have for my children.

On April 11, 2023, my youngest child, Jacob, was skateboarding and had a terrible accident. He was in the hospital for 6 days, his femur broken and shattered in multiple places. While in the hospital, his employer let him know that he'd missed three consecutive days of work, even though he'd called and told them what happened, and they terminated his employment. Jacob is 23 years old and without health insurance. He's still working to recover and has several more months before he can get back on his feet . His siblings and i have been helping all we can this past month but it's getting a little harder now. He has no way to pay not only the more than $150,000 so far in medical bills, but just the simplest things like a roof over his head and food.

I'm running out of ways to help him financially and my heart is breaking, and quite frankly, feeling terribly desperate right now.

To anyone reading this, you may not know me, but I pray you too are rich in love, as I am, and by putting yourself in my shoes, you can understand how scared we are all feeling.
