UPDATE on Memorial Day Weekend 2024

Jake has been laid to rest in Lanesborough MA at a beautiful plot with a westerly view of the mountains and sunsets. His wife and 2 children have moved to Lanesborough as well and are working hard to put the pieces of life back together.

Jakes mother, Kim and Ivy are honoring the dream that Jake and Ivy had of opening and operating a coffee shop. There are plans in place to get secure long term housing for the family as well.

On this memorial day I can not think of a more honorable, deserving local family to say thank you to then the Gallihers and the entire aircrew of GUNDAM 22.

Please keep them in your thoughts and prayers and say a word of thanks to the amazing men and women whom have made the ultimate sacrifice so we could live free.

Jake Galliher lost his life serving the country in the Air Force on Wednesday November 29, 2023 while flying a mission near Japan.

He is married with two sons, a 3 year old and 7 week old. He is a Taconic High Graduate and has family in Lanesborough and Pittsfield.

Words simply cannot express the sorrow and hardship this family is going through right now, especially with it during the holiday season.

Initially this will be to help with the incidental expenses with getting the family home with additional monies possibly being used as a scholarship fund for the children.
