JJ's Medical Bills for Heart Surgery

Hello, my name is Jacob Josiah. I am a 15-month-old who needs to have open heart surgery. I have been diagnosed with a congenital heart defect known as VSD (Ventricular Septal Defect). VSD is a hole in the heart that is between the lower heart chambers. The hole in my heart allows oxygen-rich blood to move back into my lungs instead of being pumped to the rest of my body. The oxygen-rich blood mixes with oxygen-poor blood which may increase blood pressure in my lungs and will require my heart to work harder to pump blood. The right side of my heart has begun to enlarge. Without this procedure, I am at risk for congestive heart failure which can turn to be fatal. This procedure to me, is a life-saving surgery.
