Thank you to everyone who attended Jacob's service today. He would have been so shocked and surprised that so many people cared for him. Thank you to his friends, his coworkers, and his family for coming out for my boy. Below is the update regarding his death and hopefully we get justice for Jacob soon. Nothing can bring him back but he deserved so much more and now if all we can do is find justice for him then that is what we will do.
There will be no burial as it was Jacob's wish to be cremated and continue to travel to new places and see the world.

Thank you very much for all of your donations, thank you to Whataburger and the Whataburger Family Foundation for their donations and their support.
Thank you to all that have reached out and have told us how much they cared for Jacob...I know he would have been surprised at how much he was loved but after knowing him there is no surprise.

Initial Story:
Jacob was one month away from graduating and shipping out with the Marines when he was a victim of a hit and run that took his life. He had a suit ready for his marine ball and his graduation and was looking forward to meeting new people and seeing the world. He brought life and energy wherever he went and for 18 years he persevered through exceptionally difficult circumstances most children fortunately do not go through. His life was just beginning and we hope all those that were fortunate enough to come into contact with him remember his positivity and wise words he was gracious enough to bestow upon all who would listen.
