Jacob Morales

This past week Jacob was involved a two vehicle accident early Sunday morning in Mesa, Az.: a passenger car and a minivan leaving one in critical condition and one fatality involved. Jacob was rushed into emergency brain surgery requiring them to treat the hematoma and alleviate pressure on the brain. He now has a surgical insertion of a drainage system to redirect the fluid while the other end of the tube is placed in the brains ventricles. Jacob is now being fed through a feeding tube and in deep acoma. Serial cat scans are typical in these types of trauma incidents and will continue to show us how the brain is progressing while he is in ICU. Jacob's journey ahead will require ongoing medical treatment and care from his family for a long time to come He is a bright young man who has a heart of gold and always planning ahead on how he could better himself and his future. Jacob is an honors student scheduled to graduate high school in May 2020 and then join the marines thereafter. Due to the unforeseen nature of this car accident, Jacob will now be dealing with his recovery for quite some time to come. He is a FIGHTER and will not give up! Although this tragic accident has been a whirlwind of emotions, he is ALIVE and fighting his own way to make it through this. He is a very strong young man; and his youth is on his side to recover this tragic injury. Jacob and his mother will have many various expenses and ongoing care.
