Jacob Moreno’s Family

Jacob was a talented, young artist with goals and aspirations to set the world on fire with his music. He attended Florida State University and had just wrapped up his Freshman year. He was the only son of Carlos and Claudia, immigrants from Colombia. Jacob was the first in his family to attend college. He was 19 years old, and his untimely death came in the early hours of Sunday, May 8, 2022 when he was struck and killed by a Collier County Sheriffs Officer’s vehicle, according to news reports.

Jacob was an amazing young man with a huge heart, friends and family who adored him and an amazing smile that lit up our lives.

His music will carry on and keep his memory alive in not only the hearts of those who knew and loved him but to the rest of world as well.
