Jacob Salazar Cancer Fund

Jacob Salazar is 25 years old. He is a loving father, son, brother, and friend. In July of 2019, he was diagnosed with Stage 2 Oral Squamous Cell Carcinoma. This is an aggressive cancer that he desperately needs surgery and radiation for in order to survive. Jacob is located in El Paso, Texas, but he will need to travel to Houston, Texas for his surgical procedure. He will have to remain in Houston for two weeks after the surgery to recover. Unfortunately, Jacob has no health insurance, and the doctor will not perform the surgery unless he can pay for it up front.


This is not Jacob’s first fight with cancer. When Jacob was just 1 1/2 years old, he was diagnosed with Acute Lymphocytic Leukemia. Although Jacob eventually went into remission, his childhood was ultimately taken away from him as he was in and out of the hospital for 7 years. This prolonged and strenuous battle with cancer — which included many rounds of chemotherapy and radiation — left Jacob’s body and immune system weak. His doctor suspects this developing cancer is a result of his body’s exposure to chemo and radiation as a child.







Now, in his young adulthood, Jacob has to fight again with a new form of cancer. Please help by donating any amount you can.
