Jacob Vaisman's Cancer has spread

Jacob is a twelve year old boy and one third of a triplet set. Jacob has a brother named Ariel and a sister named Naomi. All three musketeers were born only minutes apart. Shockingly, Jacob was diagnosed with Osteo Sarcoma more than a year ago after complaining of leg pain. The discovery was made upon a routine xray. Jacob's cancer is so rare that it strikes a total of 400 children in the United States per year. After a full year's course of chemotherapy treatment and grueling and debilitating leg surgeries, the dreaded news came last week. The unimaginable has occurred. Upon routine after care and scans, doctors have now determined that the cancer has spread to Jacob's lungs. The prognosis is bleak at best. Even after lung surgery, doctors inform that there is an 80% likelihood that the cancer will return. Jacob is very well loved by his brother and sister as well as his older sister Rosie. Jacob's classmates, teachers and his entire school staff adore him for his quick wit and happy attitude. They are all devastated by the news after such high hopes of eradicating this awful disease, it has regrettably come back to cause even more havoc and devastation.
