Jacob Wallace & Family

As Jacob’s Grandma Tina, I am sharing with you an opportunity to help a young family struggling with the aftermath of an accident last week. While at home, Jacob was up in a tree doing some cleanup and playing outside with his 2 & 5 year old boys. A section of the tree stabilizing him snapped unexpectedly, and he took a very bad fall 10 feet to the ground. He was admitted to the Trauma Unit at Hillcrest with extensive damage to his left leg, tibia, fibula, and ankle with 5 major fractures and crushing injuries. He has already undergone one surgery, and needs another, which will put him back into the hospital and second full recovery.
The family is devastated at the loss of income, with Jacob as the sole-provider. They’re facing copays, medical bills, home care, fuel costs and transportation, childcare expenses, and regular home bills like their house payment, utilities and car payments. They will need help sustaining their household getting back on their feet with this huge life change. With Jacob being a construction laborer, he won’t be back to work for a substantial amount of time. It’s clear that he will not be able to work for about 6 months and it could be longer. His wife and my granddaughter, Brianna, has her hands full already with the two little ones and now becoming a full time caregiver for her husband has added a lot of extra stress and juggling. They have a long road ahead of them full of uncertainty
I am establishing this fund on behalf of this dear family, trying to help them in any way possible. Any contribution made makes a world of difference after this terrible accident. Everything helps. Thank you endlessly. God Bless
