Hi everyone, I’m jacob! I’m a queer student of color studying Environmental Geography & International Studies at Texas State University.
For many reasons I needed to take a break in the spring of 2019. I’m now in a better place and ready to continue pursuing my degree, but I was informed by the university that I need to pay $3,000 before being allowed to enroll in my last year.
Fortunately I have had stable employment since January, which has helped me recover from eviction related debt. I finally got to a point where I could save for school this summer, but then my cars engine blew out (which costs $5,000) Transportation issues have been another huge obstacle that’s gotten in the way of my savings.
I’ve been eager to get back to school for months now, I’m just ready to finish so I can do my best to give back to my community! I’m hoping y’all could donate any amount possible to help with my school/car repair funds. Anything is appreciated, whether that’s a donation or sharing on your socials. Thanks in advance, much love!
