Jacque Cassella Jr. Memorial Fund

Most of you know about Jacque’s passion for skiing and his years of selfless coaching. We have partnered with Powder Ridge to honor and continue that legacy. We have established this memorial fund to help young skiers who have the passion but may need assistance with both program access and equipment. As a more visible symbol of Jacque's love of skiing and coaching we will be renovating or replacing the race “shack” at the bottom of Middlefield at Powder Ridge. In our best case scenario the newly improved race shack would become more than a timing hut, it would become a clubhouse where athletes and coaches can work together to continue the growth in the program that Jacque fostered for so many. We have big plans and hope to be able to make many contributions in his name, with more events to honor his memory. This will be determined on our ability to fundraise and we are asking the community to help make this possible.

We invite you all to come together for a dedication of the new race shack on November 16th at 11:00am. Following, we invite you all to join us for a celebration of Jacque's life at Fire at the Ridge with details to follow.
