Jacqueline (Jackie or DeeDee) Crawford

Hello all. I am requesting your help to pay for the funeral of the beautiful soul of Jacqueline L Crawford. Jackie was diagnosed with a type of bone cancer over two years ago that started with a broken hip and put her in for the fight for her life to beat the cancer. She was indeed a true fighter and strong-willed survivor which was proven twice when she was hospitalized with COVID-19 in October of 2021 for a month and secondly when she was given only weeks to live in early October of 2022. She continued to fight valiantly until she finally succumbed to the cancer on February 19th, 2023. Jackie did get life insurance to cover the cost of the funeral and burial BUT due to certain circumstances, the insurance is not valid and will not cover any costs or payments. This leaves the bill of the funeral to be covered by her two children.

Background: Jacqueline was born to James and Gloria Crawford in July of 1960 in Norfolk, Virginia. She was the mother of two children by the age of 19 and raised them as a single mother. Her hobbies included playing bingo/casino games, watching football, photography, and spending time with family and friends. She was also very feisty if you knew her. She was so feisty that she refused to let cancer win until the new casino in Portsmouth, VA was completed in January 2023 so she can check it out! She was loved deeply by family and friends alike and will be sorely missed. Please assist us in covering the funeral and burial costs so that we can lay her peacefully to rest.
