Jacquelyn’s cancer journey

Hi my name is Michelle Ditchen. I have put together this fundraiser for my friend and former coworker Jacquelyn Steinhilber. She was not feeling well before Christmas which led her to the ER and a lot of tests only to confirm that she has leukemia. The doctors weren’t sure what type so after a bone marrow biopsy was performed they diagnosed her with AML or acute myeloid leukemia. This is a very aggressive form for leukemia that requires treatment right away. Local doctors here sent her to the University of Chicago for treatment where she will stay for the next 28 days. She is a single mother of 2 children and will definitely need help with rent money and other bills while she is off work. We are unsure of what kind of benefits she will have through work so we wanted to get this set up to help her right away. Please consider helping out this wonderful person as she navigates through this crazy journey.
