My name is Melisha Ford, and I am reaching out to you with a heavy heart and a plea for support. I am the mother of a remarkable young man, Jacques Ford, whose life was tragically cut short on January 30th, 2024. Jacques was a charismatic soul, deeply loved by his family and friends. His passion for music and love for gaming, especially on his Xbox, brought joy to those around him.

In this difficult time, I find myself compelled to create this GoFundMe campaign to request assistance in providing Jacques with the dignified burial he deserves. Despite the heartbreak of losing our beloved son, the additional burden of financial strain has fallen upon me as Jacques' father has created a separate GoFundMe account and has not shared any of the proceeds for our son's burial expenses.

I am now turning to you, our extended community, in the hope that you can help us come together to give Jacques the farewell he deserves. The memorial service is planned for February 10th, 2024, and any contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant impact.
