Jacqui Ritchie and family

The night of Thursday 5th May, Jacqui was involved in a terrible car accident with her eldest daughter Alex. We are so thankful that they both survived, but with a heavy heart, offer our deepest condolences to the family of the gentleman whom, has now passed away. It has been very humbling knowing so many people have asked how they can help Jacqui and her children (Alex 16, Jaime 14 and Sam 12)

Jacqui was transported to The Royal Hobart Hospital where she received two life-saving surgeries to her spine/neck region. After 2 weeks, she has finally returned home to her 3 beautiful children, and she now has a very lengthy recovery ahead.

Jacqui is never one to ask for help (ever) but has agreed to us putting this together to assist her and the children over the coming months until she can go back to work.

Alex has also had her first car (which she worked and paid for herself) written off from the accident and will need to save again to replace in time.

Unfortunately, this little family has already been through similar circumstances with the loss of their husband/father in a motorcycle accident 12 years ago. They understand the importance of having love and support of a community in the time of tragedy and are so very grateful and overwhelmed for all the support they have been receiving.
