Jada Rankin Memorial Fund

On October 16, 2016, a tragedy occurred in Detroit, MI where 15 year old Jada Rankin lost her life from a senseless drive by shooting. Our family is completely devastated and can't understand why Jada's life was taken so suddenly. Our hopes and dreams ended the night Jada was killed. Her murderer is still at large leaving our family to grieve without closure. Jada was a beautiful and intelligent young lady maintaining a 4.0 gpa as a sophomore at Sterling Heights highschool and had plans of becoming a doctor. Jada's parents are in the process of planning funeral services. The cost of a funeral is expensive and this unexpected tragedy is overwhelming on the family both emotionally and financially. The family appreciates any donation you are willing and able to provide towards Jada's memorial.
