Jada's Funeral Fund

This past Saturday June 22nd, my sister Jada Louis passed away. It was unexpected and, honestly, I'm still shaking in disbelief even as I type this out. At only 24, everyone thought she had more time. She was recently hospitalized for diabetic ketoacidosis but was released after 10 days with her blood sugars stabilized and a plan of care in action. I learned that she hadn't been able to afford her insulin, so she hadn't been taking it for a few weeks prior to the hospital stay. Having no insurance , she felt she didn't have any other choice. Money was a thing we would address later, we were just happy she made it through such a physically and mentally taxing ordeal. She was finally home and we thought she was doing better.  But my sister would die a little over a week after finally being back home. Our family has been shaken to its very core by her passing. We are doing our best to stay strong long enough to plan her funeral, but we could use all the help we can get. Please help us give my sister a burial worthy of how special she was to all of us. I will be taking these funds and giving them to my grandmother, who is helping to coordinate the funeral.
