Jade & Debs Go TINY

Hey there, friends! Thanks for dropping by!
So here's what's going on...
Debs and I have been OBSESSED with tiny houses since we met. We have been trying to get one for the last 2 years, buuuuut the aftermath of what we did to our credit during our college years has literally every company saying "no" to a tiny home loan.
This has been so incredibly frustrating and upsetting because the major reason we want a tiny home is so that we can spend less on things we don't need and get back on track. Which up until now has been a dream that is nothing but that. We feel so trapped spending everything we make on living expenses with no hope of being able to save any money.
But listen to this!
I (Jade) have been reaching out to tiny home owners, everyday, to see if I could find just 1 PERSON willing to independently finance the tiny home they are selling. And with no luck for the longest time, FINALLY a couple responded back saying they would be willing to finance to "the right people".
My heart started pounding out of my chest and I immediately told Debs about the email I received and told her that we needed to go meet these people ASAP.
It feels like the stars all aligned at once, because not only did this family live in West Palm Beach, FL which is within driving distance of us, but Debs and I just so happened to have the weekend off together. That never happens!
So, we drove down to check out the Tiny House.

We pulled up to the Tiny Home in West Palm Beach and immediately realized that the owners of this tiny home have a CrossFit gym in their garage! So, as you can expect, with Debs and I being completely obsessed with CrossFit, the four of us hit it off immediatly!
Debs and I are so lucky to have met the most amazing, trusting people.
So, this brings us to our current situation: WE ARE BUYING THE TINY HOUSE!
We definitely don't foresee an opportunity like this presenting itself, again, so we've committed to buying this Tiny Teal Beauty!

Now you may think that the story is over, dream come true. But not quite.
While Tiny Home will eventually be paid off and allow us to take our life back, the current condition of Tiny Home is going to make for a very long and challenging year.
Because the owners need the home paid off within the year, the total amount of the home + lot fee of where we are parking it, actually total slightly more than the ridiculous amount of rent that has been crippling us. And on top of that, the RV toilet and shower needs to be replaced, there is no oven or way to do laundry, and we are forced to replace the window air conditioner for a non-window unit (as per the RV Park rules).
Debs and I have decided that even without having extra money for the needed repairs, it's in our best interest to live in it anyway and tough it out, because it will pay off in the long run, and we may never get an opportunity like this again.
So, we figured we might as well try this gofundme thing, in case anyone is in the generous mood. And if you find yourself willing to donate to our Tiny Home Repair fund, we would love to say "thank you" by making you a little something special for YOUR home, if you want it!
I'm handy/crafty, and Debs is an amazing hand-letterer. So we make a good team

If you donate, please let us know if you'd like us to contact you about having something made. We'd be honored!
Thank you so much for reading this lengthy story, and we can't wait to share all our Tiny adventures with you.
