Support for Jade Jewel Burnham

Hello, my name is Tara Marie. I am Jade’s older sister. I played an extremely strong role in raising Jade. 1/03/24 we were contacted that she was in critical condition. Ultimately Jade had suffered a traumatic brain injury, also strain on her body and organs. 

This entire focus has been anything less than easy. There is so much pain and unknown surrounding this situation . Our family dynamic is extremely indifferent. 

Multiple test were performed by two different neurologist, in addition to other attempts. Ultimately she had been declared “ “clinically deceased”. to my father and I. 

Unfortunately after a long nine days in the ICU, my baby sister passed away 1/12/25, forever 21 years young. Surrounded by love.

My father has given me the permission to go forth pertaining to a memorial for Jade.

Although extremely unfortunate circumstances, we were explained it’s an honor to be in Jade‘s position, with being an organ donor. This is also something Jade had decided. She will be able to help many people, in addition to save lives. There will be a final walk in her honor

I’m truly hoping that we can pull together for Jade. My goal would be to have her cremation, memorial at a park, and or the possibility of a memorial bench. Jade also has a child. I find it’s very important to give a physical piece of Jade, for her child to visit as “they” grow.

I have been part of Jade’s life since she was a little over 1. I helped her learn to walk and talk. Potty trained her. Took her preschool , kindergarten. To her eventually living independently with me starting at 24/25 years old. All the way to her first night of freshman orientation. 

In the end, she always came back to our family.

This has been the hardest week our lives and we really would like Jade, to be taken care of in all ways possible.

For her to be remembered for her beautiful smile and heart. Jade was loved and know by so many. I pray for her spirit to live on through all of us. 

She truly could light up any room and find something in common with anyone. I know that Jade has touched many lives along her lifetime. She was such a special person with a unique soul. So beautiful inside and out. She truly will be missed.
