Crimson Tattoo Co. aka Jaded Art Collective

My name is Shenna, and I’d like to help my best friends. I first met Brittney and Jon at Crimson Tattoo Co. in Auburn CA when I was looking for a new tattoo artist. I loved everything about them from day one, and it didn’t take long to become friends, and then family. For those of you who know Jon and Brittney, you don’t need any convincing on why I chose to start this campaign, but for those of you who don’t… here is a little backstory:
This couple is unlike any I’ve ever met. Not only do they do great tattoo work, but they go above and beyond to help others in their community. They opened their shop in 2016 and quickly gained a huge following. They used their business to help others. They ran an annual toy drive for local kids, making sure that their Christmas’ were amazing. They even ran a Letters to Santa event where they replied to children’s letters. They would do food drives for the local food bank, and volunteer to participate as a stop on the Old Town Auburn Ghost Tours. In 2018, Brittney started the program Notes of Hope for the Foresthill Bridge to help prevent suicides, which still continues to be successful saving lives to this day.
in 2020, as we all know, COVID changed everyone’s world, including small business owners like Jon and Brittney. Even though they tried everything they could, it was too much to recover and unfortunately in 2022, they decided the only option for them was to close their business and move to Tennessee. The community as a whole was devastated, and especially me, as both Brittney and Jon had become more family to me than some of my own. I have witnessed their passion and love over the years, and the fact that the pandemic negatively affected them so much is heartbreaking. They have especially been hit the last year with struggle after struggle including losing two of their furless babies within six months of each other. They have had to make many sacrifices over the last three years. It has taken them over a year living in Tennessee to finally be in the position to start over, all from scratch. I have gone to visit them twice since they moved, and even though nothing has worked out the way they had originally planned, they have remained optimistic, with the hope that one day they would be able to re-open the shop we all loved so much. Crimson Tattoo was a second home for a lot of us…. A place to get a good laugh and a hug, a place where you were welcome to be exactly who you are, even a place for some therapy and advice. All I want, is for them to be able to re-open and have the opportunity to impact others they way they have impacted me and my family. They deserve this so much, and it’s terrible that their dream hinges on having enough funds to be able to afford what’s needed to open the doors. They’ve already made an impact of their client base in Tennessee and I know they will do nothing but bring positivity and love to their new home.
I'm writing this in hopes that we can pull together and help out a great couple. Brittney and Jon are people who do so much for their community, they are always willing to help others and ask for nothing in return, so I am hoping some of us can help them now. I have watched this couple go way out of their way to bring joy and happiness to people in need no matter how busy their schedule.

I would like to show them both how much they mean to so many of us, even all the way across the country… so, if you can, please donate, and if you can’t, please share! Together we can be a part of starting something amazing!!!
