Jaden Stephens Goes to College

Jaden Stephens is my cousin. Beyond that, Jaden is an incredible athlete and an even more wonderful young man.
Raised by a single mom, Jaden has risen to every single occasion and challenge, persevering at every twist and turn.
Jaden was accepted to Northern Arizona University and will be playing football for them. Tuition for one year at NAU is $41,530. Jaden has secured grants and scholarships to cover all but $15,000. That's a huge amount; both covered and left due.
Jaden graduated high school with a 3.2 GPA. He's a 4 letter athlete in football and basketball, honors class student, and very active in both his school and community. Throughout high school, Jaden participated in Black Student Union (BSU) which focuses on empowerment and community outreach. Jaden is also a Mac scholar, where he mentors underclassmen and teaches about toxic masculinity and the systemic issues that arise from it. In his senior year, Jaden joined MULTICO--a class within his school that chooses just 30 seniors out of a class of hundreds.
MULTICO works to engage students and communities in conversation about race, sexuality, conflict, by way of skits with the hope of creating a more empathetic world.
It was today, Fri. July 27th that Jaden was informed that the gift he'd been promised to cover the remaining amount was no longer going to be an option.
If you are able to help, thank you. If you can't, but are able to share this with others, thank you. Anything and everything is so so appreciated. My cousin really just wants to go to college, to continue learning, and to continue playing a sport that has been invaluable in his life.
