Jadwiga Polish American Deli Destroyed in Fire

On January 27, 2024 at around 5 am tragedy struck Valley Stream, NY as a fire broke out taking down 7 businesses/stores in its rage. It is not yet clear what started the fire it is under investigation. Thankfully no one was in these stores/businesses at the time the fire broke out.

One of those affected is a small business loved by many, Jadwigi Polish American Deli. Jadwiga Polish American Deli has been servicing the community for over 10 years, bringing fresh cheeses, cold cuts, sweets, and many European favorites. People as per Google reviews traveled as much as 45 minutes to buy fresh products from the store.

The owner of the store, Jadwiga, for those who know her, is not only an amazing business owner but an amazing person. She did everything she could for her customers and then some. She always had a smile on her face and greeted everyone with open arms. Jadwiga also donated to numerous events and organizations, including local churches, the NYPD Pulaski Association, and local Polish Supplementary Schools. She didn't think twice when someone asked for help and it is times like these we need to lend a helping hand to such a selfless and caring individual. That is why as friends and customers of Jadwiga and her Deli, we ask for your help in getting the family back on their feet. Although thankful that no one was injured, the family is devasted that their long-time family business, in a matter of minutes is gone.

27 stycznia 2024 r. około godziny 5 rano w Valley Stream w stanie Nowy Jork doszło do tragedii, gdy wybuchł pożar, który zniszczył 5 firm/sklepów. Nie jest jeszcze jasne, co było przyczyną pożaru, trwa dochodzenie. Na szczęście w momencie wybuchu pożaru nikogo nie było w tych sklepach/firmach.

Jedną z poszkodowanych jest uwielbiana przez wielu mała firma Jadwiga Polish American Deli, która obsługiwała lokalną społeczność od ponad 10 lat, dostarczając świeże sery, wędliny, słodycze i wiele europejskich przysmaków. Według opinii Google, aby kupić świeże produkty w sklepie, klienci podróżowali aż 45 minut.

Właścicielka sklepu, Jadwiga, dla tych, którzy ją znają, to nie tylko wspaniała właścicielka firmy, ale także niesamowita osoba. Robiła wszystko, co mogła dla swoich klientów. Zawsze miała uśmiech na twarzy i witała wszystkich z otwartymi ramionami. Jadwiga wielokrotnie przekazywała także donacje na liczne Polskie wydarzenia i organizacje, w tym dla lokalnych kościołów, NYPD Pułaski i dla lokalnych polskich szkół. Nie zastanawiała się dwa razy, gdy ktoś poprosił o pomoc i w takich chwilach trzeba podać pomocną dłoń takiej bezinteresownej i troskliwej osobie. Dlatego jako znajome i klientki Jadwigi i Jej Deli, proszę o pomoc w postawieniu rodziny na nogi. Choć wdzięczna, że nikt nie odniósł obrażeń, rodzina jest zdruzgotana faktem, że ich wieloletnia firma rodzinna w ciągu kilku minut upadła.

Wszelkie datki zostaną przekazane bezpośrednio rodzinie. Dziękujemy za poświęcony czas i serce.
