Jadyn Weiss

I am fund raising for one of my CNAs who tragically passed on Saturday, August 12, 2023. Jadyn was 21 years old. Jadyn was hiking with her boyfriend on the Flying Dutchman Ridge, in the Rocky Mountain National Park. They were descending the Flying Dutchman couloir, between Longs Peak and Mount Meeker. Both Jadyn and her boyfriend fell 300 feet. The Air National Guard was able to rescue her boyfriend, but were not able to recover Jadyn until after weather had improved. While her boyfriend was critically injured, he survived. Jadyn did not.

Jadyn was a beloved daughter. But also, she was a truly treasured part of our family at Fort Collins Village. She loved caring for the residents and was a joy to work with. The residents loved her. She will be missed dearly by all of us.

There will a Celebration of Life for Jadyn in the Chapel at Fort Collins Village. The date has not been set at this time.
