EDIT 03/16/2024
Hello Everybody!
I would love to say I am thrilled with everybody’s kind hearts and loving spirits. Thank you so much all for your generosity and support when it came to this, I’ve purchased a Standard Poodle to be trained as my new service dog. Hachi is now 4 months old and is already imprinting on the scent of my seizures and migraines, I’m beyond impressed and excited with this dog! He will make an absolutely amazing service dog for me.
Edit 11/26/23:
Hey Everybody,
I am ABSOLUTELY shocked that I have already raised a big portion of what’s needed! I have decided if I can’t fundraise the full $27,900 (in total) that I’ve been quoted for a fully trained service dog I will buy a temperament tested puppy from an ethical breeder and then use the rest of my funding on paying for task training! I will be getting a Golden Retriever or a Labrador Retriever as either breeds are best suited for my needs and 2/4 recommended breeds for service work. Thank you so much to everyone who has shared this and a huge thank you to everyone who has been generous and able to donate. The help is more than appreciated and will change my life.

Hello! My name is Jaedyn, I am diagnosed with Epilepsy, Chiari Malformation, ASD, & other psychological disabilities. My current service dog Yuki is amazing at keeping me alive, but unfortunately will have to be retired soon due to old age, so that means it’s time to start searching for another Service Dog. That being said with my disabilities worsening and my work schedule, it just wouldn’t be realistic for me to train my own dog again so I am going to go through a professional training program to buy my new Service Animal. For those of you who don’t know a service dog is carefully selected based off of temperament and health, the dog then goes through a very intense and rigorous training period lasting two or more years. As you can expect these dogs cost a pretty penny. I’ve been given the estimate of upwards of $25,000+ to buy a fully trained service animal from a reliable training program. My goal with a GoFundMe is to raise the funds within the next year so I can continue to have my independency as an adult. Without a service animal having a career can be extremely challenging and very dangerous for me. Having a service dog has given me the ability to hold a full-time career at a nursing home that impacts and improves the lives of others. It has also given me the ability to be an independent adult that is able to have a social life regardless of the challenges I face due to my disabilities.
The Program I’ve decided to go with is called “My Life Unleashed’ based in Woodland Park Colorado. It is owned by an incredible trainer named Lisa Lima. She has been so helpful and has given me amazing communication throughout this whole process. After a consult with Lisa and one of her dogs, I am absolutely impressed and swooned by the behavior and training of the dogs she trains. I look forward to retaining my independence and acquiring a dog from this astounding program.
Once I put a deposit of $5,000 USD down I will be matched with one of her program dogs. After I am matched with a dog I will have the opportunity to not only be updated on their progress but be an active participant in it. My Minimum Goal is $5,000 but I would be overwhelmed with Joy if I could raise a majority of the cost!
Please consider sharing this GoFundMe so I can spread the word to as many people as possible. I appreciate everybody’s help and support when it comes to helping me get a service dog. It truly means the world to me!
