Did you know the average age for a Breast Cancer diagnosis is over 50 years of age.

So imagine being 22, and hearing the words, “you have breast cancer”

Meet Jaelyn,

This beautiful young lady is 22 years old and has been diagnosed with Breast Cancer. Her fight is just beginning! Yesterday she started her chemotherapy. She is probably one of the youngest, if not the youngest young lady in our County to be diagnosed with Breast Cancer to date.

She is a lifelong resident of Highlands County and is prepared to Fight The Fight. She is strong and independent but she cannot do this alone.

Jaelyn is facing a mountain of medical bills, but also has to be able to pay her monthly bills as well. No one is really ready financially handle this fight alone, however, at the age of 22 we need to help her.

Jaelyn will be having chemo locally and has to have multiple surgeries at Moffitt Cancer Center in Tampa in the coming months that will require her missing work and not having her usual income and being able to pay her insurance premiums.

A trust that will help alleviate the burdens of her medical, travel, lodging, and other things she will need has been set up with her approval.
