Bereavement fundraiser for brother Jahangir Raja
We have learned of the passing, in his 40s, of brother Jahangir Raja from South London, who returned to Allah on the morning of Sunday 27 June 2021, following a Covid-related illness.
He leaves behind his loving parents and siblings, devout wife and 5 amazing children aged between 19 and 4 years old.
Those who knew Jahangir remember him for his dedication to Islam and dawa from a young age. He was always attending masjids and events trying to spread the message of Islam to everyone. He was a great support to his family, friends and community.
So many people knew and loved him and valued him as a humble and caring individual. He was a dutiful son and brother and a devoted husband and father.
The community has been so kind and generous with their duas and have been asking how they can help further. In response to this overwhelming generosity, we have set up this page knowing that only Allah provides and that He can give Rizq from any corner of earth. It will be up to his family how they wish to use any funds raised.
May Allah grant Jahangir the highest levels of paradise. May Allah widen his grave and fill it with the fragrance of paradise. May Allah give strength and sabr to his family, wife and children. May he re-unite them in Jannatul Firdaws
It had been decided by family that the funds will be transferred to widow’s sister, Saba Akhtar, to manage on behalf of the widow and her children.
