Jahkeel Yates Medical Fund

On April 6th, Jahkeel was admitted to the ICU for encephalitis (brain inflammation) that caused seizures. We are still waiting to hear lab diagnostics of what could have caused this. Jahkeel is an ICU nurse that has been devoting his time during the pandemic to the ICU at Albany Medical Center. He is a devoted employee of 7 years at AMC. He has the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. Although Jahkeel is improving with aggressive medical treatment he still has a long road to recovery. As of April 14th, it will be 8 days in the hospital. The medical bills will add up. He will be unable to work and drive for quite some time due to his prognosis. This will help lighten the load on Jahkeel’s back so he can focus on his recovery and prepare to become a new dad next month! I know money can be tough right now but anything helps.
