Jake Borup’s Big Heart

On Friday, October 28th, everyone’s best friend, Jake Borup, experienced massive heart failure. After two flatlines, two hospital transfers (including a helicopter ride) Jake finds himself at University Hospital in Phoenix fighting for his life.

Right now the future is unclear. The best case is a slow, painful and absurdly expensive recovery. There is a high possibility that extensive surgery and even a heart transplant could be needed in the future.

Jake is a husband to a loving wife who saved his life. He is also a father of 6 awesome kids. He is a provider and supporter, but after this weekend he and his family are going to need some help.
