Why I'm fundraising

Jake fought for life for 2 weeks before passing away on December 22nd. Now our family is left to try pick up the pieces of our heart that is forever gone. Jake never met a stranger and to know him was to love him. He loved life, if there was a party you would find him close by. His million dollar smile could light up a room the moment he entered it, and his hair was never out of place. He was very talented a "Jake of all trades" you could say. If you showed him how to do something he could pick it up in a heartbeat. Jake loved cooking, fishing and tinkering with things. I used to kid him sometimes they actually worked when he was done. He loved his entire family and friends even his own small personal zoo, there isn't anything he wouldn't do to help anyone. Needless to say we are all devastated by his passing.

The impact of your support

Of course life halted when Jake was hospitalized. My husband, Jake's fiancée all of our kids and I split our normal team effort for us to stay in the hospital with my Baby and them home comforting our other kids. No work means no funds. We realize Christmas just passed and New Years is already here. My family would be most grateful for any contribution you could possibly make. We are a proud family like most who do not like to ask for help but as life and unexpected things happen that none of us could be prepared for. If you can not contribute that's okay we completely understand, and wish you all the best. There will not be a funeral service for Jake as he would not want anyone upset or crying for him he would want everyone to be happy and celebrate. We will plan to do that in March and will keep everyone posted going further.
