Jake Thomas Anastas

Over the weekend Jake Anastas, husband of my beautiful friend Tori, was tragically killed in a horror plane crash south-west of Sydney. At just 29 years old, Jake had spent nearly half his life in the skies, falling in love with flying in his youth, with this past weekend’s flight being the final step to achieving his commercial pilot’s licence.

Jake's family and friends will remember him as a loving, caring and remarkable husband and someone who had a tremendous impact on everyone in his life. Many people have reached out to offer their support in any way they can. This fund will ensure Tori can provide a fitting tribute to someone so special.

Tori shared some touching words about her love for Jake - "He was my best friend and my world. He loved flying and made everything brighter, he always made me feel like I could soar with him."
