Hi my name is Rhiannon and I am a long time friend of Jennifer Winship and her boys have been close friends with my kids for about 15 years now. On March 19, 2024 - Jennifer received the devastating news that

her beloved 19-year-old son, Jakeb, had tragically passed away in a car accident while driving through Texas. Sadly, this happened a week after Jennifer received a cancer diagnosis and was informed that surgery (and possible radiation) would be needed in the coming weeks.

Myself and many people surrounding this family, are determined to support them during this difficult time. The funds donated here will ease the financial burden of travel costs between Florida (where Jennifer lives), Texas (where the accident happened), Louisiana (where her other son lives) and Colorado (for the memorial service). This will also help with the unexpected funeral expenses, support her time off work and finally to aid in paying for the out of pocket medical expenses for surgery and cancer treatment.

Your contribution will provide crucial support to this incredible family who is trying to navigate profound grief - while also working through significant health challenges.
