JAKE'S ANGELS

This is Jake. Big Jake, if you're a John Wayne fan. Burned and alone for two weeks after the 2017 Helena Fire in the mountainous terrain of Trinity County, CA, Jake was found, saved and healed by the non-profit Trinity County Animal Shelter. Without them, Jake would be dead.

Instead, this gentle, intelligent, playful Border Heeler is living his best life at his new Trinity River home. One of countless dogs and cats saved by Jake's Angels at the Trinity County Animal Shelter - a previously no-kill shelter for decades.

Unfortunately, due to an overwhelming number of pets being dumped and given up in 2022, as well as to financial and staffing hardships in today's economy, this critical, rural shelter is on the brink of resorting to euthanasia. Think of how many other gentle, intelligent, compassionate, playful pets will never get a second chance like Jake was given. When we look at all the beautiful pups and cats they save, it's truly hard to stomach.

We know times are tough, but Jake and I implore you to make a donation to Jake's Angels. All proceeds (post GoFundMe fees) go to the Trinity County Animal Shelter, via the Trinity Animal Shelter Auxilliary. Jake and I won't see a dime... What we'll see is far more priceless - the lives of innocent, good, dogs and cats gettin' a second chance at their own best life.
