Jake’s fight against Leukaemia!

Hello to all Family and Friends of Jacob Krebs (Jake) I am his Aunty Stacey and I am fund raising for all his medical expenses

On May 9th 2023, Jake went to the Emergency Department to see about his sore arm. They ended up doing some blood work to see what was the cause of his bruising and soreness of his arm was. Only to find out his white blood cells were off the charts! That led to a call to his Grandmother Joanne Krebs, the Dr said he needed to be taken to a different hospital to get a proper diagnoses for him. From there they continued with more testing and getting the results or diagnoses as to what was going with his blood count. He was seen by the specialist and she diagnosed him with Chronic Myeloid Leukaemia ( Blood Cancer). This is gong to be a long road for him and his family, he will not be able to work for a number of months as he will be going through treatments. He will need to still pay rent, buy groceries and pay bills and medications for his treatments as well as travailing expenses.

He is now in the ICU getting his first treatment. He is in good spirits right now so we are thankful for that.
