JAM Duluth 2024

Returning for it’s second year in Duluth, MN, the Jazz Appreciation Month (JAM) Concert

Series is a weekly concert series founded to promote jazz awareness in a manner that

directly engages and supports the vibrant local music ecosystem in the Twin Ports. JAM

concerts are held twice a week throughout various local restaurants & venues and will

generate performance opportunities for over 80 local & regional jazz musicians, ranging

from high-school students to professionals. The series is organized by local music

stakeholders in partnership with Campfire Music Foundation, a MN music nonprofit

focused on community development and reducing issues of musical labor insecurity.

The JAM Duluth concert series is deeply committed to celebrating and promoting jazz,

not just as a genre of music, but as a vibrant thread in the cultural fabric of the Twin

Ports area. At the heart of our mission is the belief that music provides immense value

to local communities, which is the driving motivation behind this series. To make this

event possible, we depend entirely on philanthropic donations, grants, and the generous

backing of our community partners and sponsors.

90% of the budget is going towards paying Jam sessions hosts and professional regional and local ensembles. (Big Bands and Schools not included). By becoming a sponsor of the JAM Duluth concert series, you’re not
