Jamarius Javon Wells, son, grandson, brother, friend, football player and so much more to so many fought hard both on and off the field. With broken hearts we announce that we lost an amazing soul on December 5. Jamarius had dreams as big as one can imagine and longed to be pain free.

A young man with a kind smile and beautiful heart tackled life with determination. He loved his Georgia Bulldogs and New England Patriots. As he was one of their biggest fans rooting them on to championships, Jamarius is the true champion. He championed the ability to smile throughout his battle with leukemia not once but twice. Unexpectedly, Jamarius's family took an unexpected hit and were blindsided by a sudden secondary infection that Jamarius was unable to overcome.

There are no words to truly describe what Jamarius's family is navigating due to this sudden and unexpected loss. He had been aggressively undergoing clinical chemotherapy trial treatments at Children's Hospital of Philadelphia and most recently at Scottish Rite with his mother and father constantly by his side. He was life-flown back to Scottish Rite from his hometown in Rome on December 4th as a result of the sudden secondary illness.

Due to the nature of this unexpected, heart-breaking situation, we are asking for donations to allow Jamarius's family to cover the many expenses of laying this amazing young man to rest and to help offset much needed lost wages they have incurred and will incur in order to heal. During this season of giving, let's come together and give if you are able to support laying this amazing young man to rest.

If you are unable to donate, please keep them in your prayers and if possible, please share this as far and wide as possible.

Lastly, please keep Jamarius's family in your prayers as this is incredibly overwhelming. Loss of life is never easy, especially when it's a child.

May Jamarius rest in peace. He is now pain free in the presence of the Lord whom he loved.

Jamarius's mom, Taneisha Moore, is set as the beneficiary of the funds being raised by her friend, Aimee Hays, toward laying Jamarius to rest. All funds raised go directly to Taneisha Moore on behalf of laying her amazing son, Jamarius to rest this week.

Thank you all for your support during this difficult and unexpected time of their lives. To see how many lives Jamarius has influenced and continues to influence is unbelievable. May we all live to champion life like Jamarius!
