James and Mary Berner - Hurricane Ian Recovery

My name is Mallory Rannow; I set up this page to help my parents, James and Mary Berner. As we all know, Hurricane Ian was catastrophic to the Fort Myers Beach and Sanibel areas. My family home is about 0.5 miles from the Caloosahatchee River, and although the structure remains, the house is unlivable due to the water damage. My father's car was also a total loss because of the flooding. My brother and I have opened our homes to them in the Tampa area for the time being.

I have set up this page in hopes of taking away some of the financial burdens of driving back and forth from Tampa, storing their salvageable items in storage units, finding a place to live and buying a new car. Your donations will go directly to my parents to help them secure new living arrangements and the necessary supplies to sustain their new lives in this challenging time.
