James and Theresa Clagg
Donation protected
On Saturday, October 7th, James and Theresa were working in their garage and James fell from the attic stairs. When he landed, he hit his head on the concrete floor. Thankfully, Theresa was there and able to call 911.
James was transported by ambulance to OU Trauma Center and within a matter of a few hours he undergoing life saving surgery. He was diagnosed with a subdural hematoma and had a hemicraniectomy to relieve swelling in the brain.
Although he is making improvements, the recovery time is still projected to be 3 months and there are many unknowns ahead.
The Claggs have two primary financial concerns. First, medical bills. As we all know, most of us are just one accident away from medical bankruptcy. Second, the Claggs own their own business and without James to work with Theresa over the next three months, there are concerns about them being able to meet their financial responsibilities.
Every donation matters. No gift is too small.
While it may seem small, the ripple effect of small things is extraordinary. Matt Bevin
