James Bosela Brain and Lung Cancer Aid

It’s crazy to even be typing this, but over the weekend, my dad, James Bosela, was diagnosed with brain and lung cancer. After a few weeks of having migraines and vertigo, his doctor recommended an emergency visit to the hospital, where it was discovered he has several tumors in his brain, on his spine and in his lungs. We find out treatment options this week and we are waiting on biopsy results for the tumor in his lungs.

If you have ever met my dad, you know what a brilliant, goofy, fun, strange man he is and that he has struggled to be himself after losing my brother a few years ago. It’s a sick irony that his brain would be what’s hurting him, when it’s the very thing that made my mom fall in love with him. As she says “Ooooh check out the big brain on James!”

I will update information as I found out and we intend to host events in his honor in coming weeks. Any little bit helps.
