***Update*** my dad passed away this morning 9/6/23.

Hi, my name is Lynn and I’m fundraising for my dad as he has very few days left (doctor says a couple). This has been ongoing for a few months now and has only gotten worse. He was sent home yesterday at his request to live out his last few days. I got a call this morning that he now has sepsis and all his organs are shutting down. He has hospice coming daily to give him morphine and other pain meds to keep him comfortable until he passes. My moms so sick right now with something. They have no insurance or money. My dad gets around $1000 a month for social security and that’s what they live on. The house (if you want to call it that) they live in is falling down around them as you can see. Not even a house! Cornell and I have almost depleted our savings going back and forth (4 hours each time just in driving) to help them, buy their food, meds, wheel chair, ramps, replace pipes as they had no water for months (I did not know this), pay phone bill and so on. Her car is broke down, costing $500 so far to fix and thank god Scott Thomas is doing all the work on it free. There’s just so much. My parents have been together since they were 12 years old so 60 years, this is devastating for my mom. If anyone can help it would be so appreciated, if not please share as we know it’s a rough time for everyone right now. For those that have already helped in the beginning, thank you so very much.
